Yalumba The Octavius

A deep purple wine with a strong aromatic bouquet of blackberries, blueberries, and dark plums with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, and smoky oak. On the palate it offers concentrated flavors of ripe dark fruit, spice, and hints of vanilla and cedar. Yalumba Winery has been independent, family-owned winemakers since 1849. For six generations they have embraced the land and grow vines with as little interference as possible. They want to make sure that future generations will continue to make great wine with minimal intervention, for many decades to come.
