Terre Rouge Syrah Les Côtes de l'Ouest
An expressive bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, and plum, layered with violet, black pepper, smoked meat, olive, dried herbs, and earthy spice. The flavors are intense full of dark fruit, pepper, herbs, smoke, and mineral earth. Terre Rouge is the Rhône-focused label of Easton Wines, founded by winemaker Bill Easton in California’s Sierra Foothills. Easton was an early advocate for Rhône varieties in the region and has spent decades working with grapes such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. The Terre Rouge wines are built around the idea that the Sierra Foothills can produce Mediterranean and Rhône varieties
