The Season of Getting Exactly What You Want

As the year closes out and all the holiday festivities come to an end, I wanted to take this time to thank you for your continued support and appreciation of GrapeFind. This was a vision of mine throughout my years of work in the wine industry and thanks to individuals like you, I’ve been able to make it a reality.

We’ve developed concepts for a better at-home experience throughout this past year which have made GrapeFind unique in the world of wine. Developed through the feedback of our amazing customers, these ideas will only continue to improve as the vision and scope of this company continue to grow. Just this last month we launched wine baskets for the holidays which opened us up to a world of people who otherwise would never have enjoyed the experience you enjoy every month. They were such a success that I’ve decided to launch them moving forward as a regular item available for gifts of all sorts. 

With this month’s theme, I wanted to send each of you wines which, to me, represent the best examples of wine you enjoy. I’m presenting them to you as your own “New Years Party Poppers”. These are wines which embody your personal journey through wine with us that culminate to an ideal pairing for you as a wine drinker. They should shine like reflections of what I’ve come to understand as your preferences. So let’s break them open and see what delights are inside!

Let’s get this party started with the Wölffer Estates Cabernet Franc from Long Island in New York. It was an experiment gone right when the winemakers at Wölffer Estate decided to plant Cab Franc in the state of New York, but they took a page out of the French playbook while also looking west to California. In both these regions Cabernet Franc is the backbone to their world-class reputation of fine wines. Luckily for you, a bold red wine with layers of expressive fruits complemented by spice and earthy notes was exactly what you were looking for. The tannic nature which provides a dry refreshing finish is the ideal wine profile to suit your preference. 

Not to be left out of the festivities is the Ancient Peaks Zinfandel from Paso Robles in California. You love Zins and you have also shown an affinity for Central Coast Cali wines. This wine checks off both of those boxes. Enjoy the lush velvety fruits on this wine. The Santa Margarita Ranch location, which is exclusive to the Ancient Peaks winery, is a prime example of cultivation of grapes to the ideal environmental conditions to get the most out of a varietal. Their Zinfandels always represent the black fruit flavors and aroma which are quintessential to great Zins with layers of new oak usage to round the finish. See if you can pick up on these elements in this wine.

These party poppers are the perfect wines for your taste profiles. Sure they can be paired with food but the reason I selected them for you was so you could simply “pop” them open and pour yourself a glass to enjoy.
