Mayer Tempranillo Yarra Valley
Vibrant ruby-red color with aromas of cherries, strawberries, and blackberries, with subtle notes of dried herbs and spices. The wine offers flavors of juicy red fruit with hints of tobacco. Timo Mayer grew up in Germany, where his family have been making wine for over 400 years. He moved to Australia where he studied winemaking before making his way to the Yarra Valley and establishing Mayer Wines in 2000. He’s recently started experimenting with new grape varieties and continues to lead the charge for complex wines that reflect the Yarra Valley’s cool climate.
