Locos Por El Vino Zismero Garnacha

A ruby tint with enticing aromas of cherries, and redcurrants. On the palate, it reveals a enjoyable freshness of red fruits such as cherries and redcurrants. A short aging in oak rounds off the palate, providing notes of herbs and toast. Produced by Bodegas Alto Moncayo, the “Locos Por El Vino” project aims to expand their range with high-quality, modern, and casual wines produced from the winery’s youngest vineyards. The name “Zismero” is a local term used in the village of Borja, referring to one who is provocative (their words, not mine) and happy, with a complexity and uniqueness that makes its observer think deeply about its light-heartedness.
