Dr. Heyden Oppenheimer Pinot Noir
Dark berries and earthy flavors mingle in this medium bodied Pinot Noir. It reflects the limestone soil with berry fruit and complexity. A hint of sweet spice pairs with blackberry and black cherry flavors in this lively wine. Freshly concentrated and invigorating fruit profile. The Dr. Heyden estate is relatively “young” by German standards. It was founded in 1999. The winemaking style is very focused on sustainable agriculture, and although they haven’t obtained certification, they are farming organically and practicing polyculture in the vineyards.
