Domaine du Colombier Crozes-Hermitage Rouge
This red shows a ruby tint. The nose exhibits aromas of dark cherry, blueberry, violets, forest floor, and black olive, with subtle notes of smoked meat, and crushed peppercorn. The flavors are red and blue fruits, crushed green peppercorns, smokey and floral notes with hints of briny black olives. Domaine du Colombier is led by Florent Viale, who continues a family legacy in the Northern Rhône. The Viale family has owned vineyard holdings in the region for decades, but it was after 1991 that they began producing and bottling under their own label.
