Domaine Combier Crozes-Hermitage Cuvee L
This red shows a deep ruby color. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and raspberry, with subtle notes of smoked meat, violet, cracked black pepper and brine. The flavors are dark fruits, savory spice, and floral notes with hints of smokey graphite. Domaine Combier is one of Crozes-Hermitage’s benchmark estates, founded in 1936 and currently led by Laurent Combier, a pioneering figure in organic viticulture in the Northern Rhône. The family estate was among the first in the appellation to adopt certified organic farming, helping redefine Crozes-Hermitage as a source of refined, terroir-driven Syrah.
