Clos Henri Waimaunga Windblown Clays Pinot Noir

The color is a deep garnet hue. The nose is layered with cherry, bramble, and raspberry over floral notes of dried violet and rose, with earthiness, and spice. The palate is ripe red fruit flavors mingle with a backbone of savory spice. Clos Henri is the Marlborough arm of the Bourgeois family, originally from the Loire Valley in France. They brought their Sancerre expertise to New  Zealand, planting estate vineyards and embracing organic and biodynamic practices over time.
