Clos i Terrasses del Priorat Clos Erasmus Laurel
Deep ruby-purple color concentration. It opens with blackberry, black raspberry, ripe cherry, and plum aromas, followed by violet, licorice, herbs, graphite, and spice. The palate is rich and concentrated yet surprisingly energetic, with red and black fruit, florals, pepper, crushed slate, anise, cocoa, herbs, and mineral earth. Clos i Terrasses is the estate created by Daphne Glorian, one of the small group of winemakers responsible for Priorat's extraordinary modern revival beginning in the late 1980s. The estate's flagship, Clos Erasmus, subsequently became one of Spain's most prestigious wines, earning multiple perfect critical scores.
