Clonakilla O'Riada Shiraz

Showcasing a deep, inky red color with aromatic notes of blackberry, plum, and black cherry combined with hints of spice and dark chocolate. The flavors reveal a rich and full-bodied wine with concentrated dark fruit, pepper, and licorice. Clonakilla winery is a family business, established by John Kirk in 1971 when he bought a 44 acre farm near the village of Murrumbateman. He planted a vineyard and named the property Clonakilla (‘meadow of the church’) after his grandfather’s farm in County Clare. This O’Riada bottling is named after Irish composer Seán O’Riada — a nod to the founder’s Irish heritage.
