Domaine de Saint Cosme Les Deux Albion Blanc

A pale golden hue, the nose has aromas of white flowers like honeysuckle, dried apricot, white peach, and nectarine with hints at the limestone mineral. On the palate it’s flavors of white peach, apricot, citrus zest, and notes of chalky minerality and a herbal edge. In the heart of the appellation Gigondas, the Château de Saint Cosme, a historic estate (and négociant arm) owned by the Barruol family. With its Gallo-Roman fermentation vats perfectly preserved, this site gives a good idea how their ancestors lived. The property has been in their family since 1490 and have been vignerons (growers) for 14 generations.
