Chateau de Pennautier Cabardès L'Esprit de Pennautier Rouge

A ruby-colored red with pronounced black cherry, plum, blackberry and hints of violet, herbs, cedar and black pepper. A lush red with concentrated dark fruits, earthy spices, licorice notes and cocoa. Château de Pennautier is the flagship estate of the Lorgeril family, whose winemaking history in the region dates back to the 17th century. Often referred to as the “Versailles of the Languedoc,” the château is one of southern France’s most historic wine estates. Today, the Lorgeril family continues to champion the unique identity of Cabardès, producing wines that reflect the region’s rare intersection of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences.
