Chappellet Cabernet Franc Pritchard Hill Napa Valley

The color is a deep ruby-red. The aromas are red currant, rose petal, toasty oak, black tea, with hints of cedar, graphite, wild sage, thyme, and sandalwood. The palate is s layered and graceful with black fruits, anise, and white pepper. Chappellet Vineyard, located on Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley, is one of the pioneering estates to plant at high elevation hillside sites in Napa.  The Chappellet family has long emphasized mountain fruit, careful selection, and a “sense of place” in their wines.
