Bonpas Chateauneuf-du-Pape Bonus Passus
A succulent red with pronounced black cherry, blackberry, and plum, woven together with classic southern Rhône notes of dried herbs, black pepper, licorice, and warm spice. The flavors are dense dark fruit, savory herbal complexity, and expressive, marked by spice, earth. Cellier des Chartreux / Bonpas traces its roots back to the 14th century, when Carthusian monks cultivated vineyards around the Bonpas estate near Avignon. Today, the winery continues this legacy by producing wines that reflect the traditions and terroir of the southern Rhône.
